Oh my goodness!!! I couldn't contain the tears of everything that happened! It was so bittersweet, which some of us expected, but actually seeing it is so heartbreaking I thought it was a decent enough of a series to be one of the best, if not, the best of the summer! Lisa and Shibazaki visit the graves of Nine, Twelve, Five, and the other experimented children regularly, and are on a familiar basis with each other. One year later, it is revealed that Project Athena was exposed to the world, leaving the Japanese government under scrutiny. Before dying, he tells Shibazaki to always remember Sphinx Shibazaki orders the soldiers to stand down, then negotiates with an outraged Nine, who eventually gives the detonator to him before abruptly experiencing the same headache Five suffered.
And without caution, Twelve is shot and killed right in front of everyone helicopters arrive and hold Nine and Twelve at gunpoint, but Nine pulls out a detonator, claiming that it is for another atomic bomb designed by the Japanese government, which is now in a nuclear power plant. He forgives Twelve and they all have some tender moment together, even Nine and Lisa Īs night falls, they are approached by Shibazaki, who tells them that if they turn themselves in, then Project Athena will be exposed to the world and will not be ignored by anyone anymore. He makes a new burial of Five where the other children are buried and he comes Twelve and Lisa again. Nine heads back to the abandon place where him, Twelve, and Five had all came from. Sphinx had successfully disabled all of Japan's electronic devices, including the following day.
